Whether you’re a beginner or a
more advanced dancer, we will help you learn to dance
and/or improve your dancing.
Our focus is West Coast Swing (WCS). WCS is one of
the most versatile social dances that exist today.
Although the “roots” of WCS are in Rhythm & Blues
music, the dance has evolved such that today, you
can dance WCS to a wide variety of contemporary music,
as well as “smoothies” from long ago.
WCS attracts a wide variety of ages. You are never
too young or too old to do WCS. And, it is a dance
that will NEVER go out of style, as it is highly adaptable
to all kinds of music.
Furthermore, WCS not only has a strong local presence
in the Chicagoland area, but also a wide network of
WCS clubs across the country that host local area
dances, lessons, competitions and weekend conventions.
